Sudhir Shah is a social entrepreneur, wellness innovator, and advocate for conscious living who bridges the worlds of modern science and ancient wisdom. With graduate-level training in molecular biology from Yale and a lifelong foundation in Ayurveda inherited from his mother, he brings a unique, integrative perspective to health, communication, and human connection.
This insight led him to found OM Botanical, a plant-based skincare company rooted in purity, safety, and the philosophy: “If you can’t eat it, it doesn’t belong on your skin.” He believes that true well-being arises from alignment—within the body, mind, and relationships.
A vegan for over 30 years and a passionate about cooking, Sudhir finds joy in nourishing others as much as himself. In his free time, he enjoys gardening (especially growing his famously fiery ghost peppers), hiking, and rock climbing. He recently climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, and completed treks to Everest Base Camp and Mt. Kailas, reflecting his deep commitment to both physical vitality and spiritual exploration.
A dedicated student of Jain philosophy and other spiritual traditions, Sudhir embodies the principle of Ahimsa (non-violence) in daily life. Through his work with Nonviolent Communication (NVC), he now helps individuals transform how they speak, listen, and relate - bringing greater compassion, awareness, and connection into everyday life.
