Aerial Yoga: Foundations for Longevity and Balance - [$]
Full
Limited Capacity full
Adding this to your schedule will put you on the waitlist.
Every yoga practice reaches into the elemental realms. Aerial yoga is no exception.

In this welcoming introduction to aerial yoga, we explore how the hammock becomes a partner in cultivating sustainable movement, resilience, and long-term vitality. Grounded in the traditions of Hatha Yoga, this practice integrates breath, alignment, and mindful exploration of foundational postures including forward folds, standing balances, twists, gentle inversions, and supported reclined shapes.

The aerial hammock allows us to move with both stability and spaciousness—decompressing the spine, lengthening muscles, and encouraging fluid movement throughout the body. As we work with the elements of earth, water, fire, air, and space, each posture becomes a bridge between grounding and expansion.

This class invites practitioners to discover how a supported practice can sustain mobility, nourish the nervous system, and cultivate the kind of embodied well-being that allows us to show up fully in our lives and communities.  Whether your feet rest on the earth or float gently in the air, we explore the place where sky and earth meet—within the body.

No aerial yoga experience necessary.

Sacred Sauna + Cold Therapy: The Science of Feeling Alive - [$]
Full
Limited Capacity full
Adding this to your schedule will put you on the waitlist.
What if the most powerful wellness tools available to you are the ones nature already provided — cold water, heat, and breath? This immersive experience is equal parts science, sensation, and ceremony, beginning with a dive into the emerging research behind both cold exposure and sauna therapy — two ancient practices now backed by compelling evidence for their effects on longevity, nervous system resilience, cardiovascular health, mental clarity, and hormonal balance — yes, we'll demystify how women specifically respond to and benefit from both. From there, we move into practice: guided breathwork and meditation prepare your body and mind before we enter a cold plunge — as an invitation to discover what you're capable of when you trust your body's innate intelligence. Then we return to the heat. Sacred sauna time is its own ritual here — we'll explore sauna culture, settle into the warmth together, and let integration happen naturally: in conversation, in stillness, in the quiet companionship of shared experience. This is personal vitality as a collective practice — the very heart of Thriving Together. Come curious, come open, and leave feeling more alive than when you arrived.

Heart-Centered Aerial Yoga for Connection & Community [$]
Filling
Limited Capacity filling up
Thriving together begins with remembering that we are not separate.

In this heart-centered aerial yoga practice, the hammock becomes both a support system and a metaphor for the ways we hold one another in community. Through mindful movement, breath, and supported postures, we explore how personal well-being strengthens our ability to show up for others with presence, compassion, and purpose.

The aerial hammock assists us in finding spaciousness in the body through gentle inversions, supported stretches, and fluid transitions that encourage mobility, circulation, and nervous system balance. As we move between grounding and suspension, we experience the profound effects of being supported—physically and energetically.

This practice invites reflection on the yogic principle of seva, or selfless service, reminding us that when we nourish our own vitality, we become better able to offer care, generosity, and stability to the communities around us.

Together we will move, breathe, and rest—cultivating resilience not only within ourselves, but within the collective field we share.Because thriving is not a solo endeavor. It is something we practice together.

Take your yoga practice on the water at Elk Lake. We'll soak up views of the San Juan mountains and those Colorado bluebird skies above.

Join us on the water to celebrate our collective vitality and the strength we cultivate when we show up for ourselves and each other. We'll close the weekend together on Elk Lake — floating, breathing, and moving in the quiet beauty of the natural world. This soulful flow is an invitation to feel the resilience you've built, honor the community that holds you, and carry the spirit of seva — selfless service and care — home with you. When we tend to our own wholeness, we become a more generous presence for all those around us.

What to Bring: Please bring a hat, swimsuit, water-wicking layers or yoga clothes you like to practice in, water, and sunscreen.
The Plan: a shuttle van will take you from the Blue Mesa Bus Stop to Elk's Lake promptly at class start time (the lake is just 1 mile from The Meeting Place) and back to the Blue Mesa Bus Stop no later 90 minutes later. Mary will do a dry-land intro for 5-10 minutes and you will have 60 minutes of SUP yoga on the water.
Level: All levels welcome - no SUP yoga experience necessary.
